Our vision is to improve health through health informatics education and research.

  • Foster multidisciplinary applied research where outcomes are used within the health industry.
  • Provide leadership, expert advice and contribute to national and international Health Informatics developments.
  • Promote research and policy development around the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and its governance.
  • Provide multidisciplinary educational and research opportunities to build the nation's health informatics capability and uptake.

  • Adopt innovative teaching and learning technologies to provide up to date ‘real-world' health informatics content based on industry needs.
